So day 10 is coming to an end and I’m going to share my progress with you. I wasn’t so motivated to write something today but this are the moments were you have to overcome yourself and do something you don’t want to do but need to do because it has a good impact on the goal you want to achieve. I’ve learned something about pycharm today and how to start a Python program on windows with commands, I’ve also build a small bmi calculator. It isn’t anything big but it was simple way of practicing my skills I’ve learned today and to easily remember them. I’ve worked on my writing speed as well, and improved again a little bit. Thats it for today.

See you tomorrow,

Alex

Day 9 is coming to an so I’m as always going to tell you how my day went learning Python. Today was a pretty productive day because I wanted to learn the lesson I couldn’t learn yesterday. I’ve learned something about variable function parameters and the sort function at the first part of the day. The second part of the day consisted of learning how to use the datetime-module and how to format strings. I’ve also used quite some time to practice my typing speed and I think I’ve improved a lot over the last two days my wpm raised by 10 and for me thats huge. Thats it for today.

Day 5 is coming to end and I’m going to tell you as usual how my day went learning Python. The last two days were used as a break since it was the weekend (I might to that every week, but I’m not sure yet). I’m still working on an web-crawler or better said I’m learning how to code one, so there is actually not much to talk about. Nonetheless it was still fun to invest 2–3 hours in learning this great programming language and get better from day to day, even though in Germany school started “regularly” again. I hope I still find the time to practise my skills. If so you are going to hear or read me. ;)

See you tomorrow,

Day 4 is coming to an end so I’m going to write something about what I’ve learned today. As I said yesterday I’m now learning how to crawl a website. I’m still learning how to crawl websites but I already a bit of progress so I’m exited what opportunities I’ll have when I’m understanding more and more. Today was a different day, different in the way that I started learning early in the morning and not late in the evening as usual. I’m not sure yet which method is bette or more efficient. Only time will tell.

See you tomorrow,

Day 2 of my journey is coming to an end so its time to write down the things I’ve learned today. The main thing I’m trying to unterstand to this point is object orientation. Object orientation is an import part in object-oriented programming because it basically allows you to add things to your already existing code and it will run like nothing happened but better or with more features. I had my issues with learning all the stuff better said understanding, but I think I’m getting closer to my goal of understanding object orientation. I still have to invest a few a hours in understanding this method. Time will tell how far I’m going to come.

See you tomorrow,

Hi my Name is Alex,

Im a 17 years old german student and live in Coburg. I started this journey on medium to keep track of my progress that I’ll hopefully make in the upcoming weeks or months. Actually I should have started this blog earlier because I allready started my Python journey two weeks ago, the reason I’m starting this blog later is that I thought I could get track of my progress without this blog, but the reality is that I think it will be way easier on this way. Now I talked enough, let’s start (or continue) with learning Python.

See you tomorrow,

Alex
